..how difficult it is to create new products from concept to completion. Frustrating, time consuming, expensive, exhilarating. Something so unassuming as a simple soft plastic worm can take years to perfect, mold, fund. Novel ideas in this industry do not flow freely nor do they ever come cheap. Potential lures often die a slow death as a pc file or between the pages of a sketch book. Every step in the process requires funding and patience (lots of patience). Years roll by and finally the sample goods are ready to test drive. Thoughts of both performance failure or design flaws appear as you tie it on for it's maiden voyage... a simple cast and all the questions, failures, and skepticism disappear...Mr. Bucketmouth approves of your efforts and rewards you on cast #1.
